Pier is a modern abstract geometric oil painting depicting the abstracted shape of a coastline on a summer’s day. Inspired by Richard Diebenkorn’s abstracted landscapes, the painting uses striking shape and colour to create a contemporary view of the cliffs and sea. It is the first in the Pier series.
