Welcome to the portfolio of Eleanore Ditchburn – artist, illustrator, and designer.
I create contemporary fine art and surface designs that blend vibrant color, bold form, and a deep connection to memory, place, and storytelling.

Long Sands, is my favourite spot to blow the cobwebs out of my hair and go for a long walk fromWhitley Bay to Tynemouth. It’s a popular surfing spot and there’s always plenty going on. This oil painting uses the iridescent quality of manganese blue oil paint to capture the clear, rich summer light of the North East of England.

This is the last home at Toscaig Pier, Applecros, a magical place where time stands still and the weather takes over the landscape.

Yellow Telephone – The Sensory Archive
Acrylic on canvas, 10×10” | Originals sold | Available as prints
Part of The Sensory Archive, this trio of telephone paintings captures the tactile charm of rotary dials and analogue memory. Each 10×10” canvas features a single handset — Red, Teal, or Yellow — rendered in vibrant acrylics with a nod to mid-century design.
These objects act as sensory triggers: vessels of conversation, connection, and time. The flat color backdrops highlight each phone’s iconic form while inviting personal reflection through their simplicity.
Now available as fine art prints — ideal for collectors, design lovers, or anyone with a soft spot for vintage tech.
